A travel community for Ghana
Sixteen regions.
One country.
Better company.
We organise group trips to every corner of Ghana planned properly, priced honestly, and travelled with people who become friends. Not a tour operator. A community that plans together, moves together, and keeps coming back.

From first hearing about us to arriving home
Joining a trip takes under ten minutes
Every trip runs on the same seven steps announced with the full price, booked with a deposit to the official account, and travelled with a manifest, a trip lead, and a first aid kit on board. No surprises, and never “DM for price”.

Trips are announced 1–2weeks out (3–4for long trips), always with the same five facts: destination, dates, total cost, what's included, and the sign-up deadline.

Two to three days before departure: the route, timings, ground rules, the trip lead's number, and any cultural or safety notes for the destination.
- 6
Trip day
The bus leaves at the stated time. Headcount at every departure point. The trip lead carries the manifest, emergency contacts, and the first aid kit.
- 7
After the trip
Within a week: photos shared, a two-minute feedback form, and the trip notes filed into our regional knowledge base for whoever runs the route next.

Nobody gets left behind
Financially or literally. Payment plans exist. Headcounts happen.
Spend where we visit
The community hosting us should be better off for our being there.

Ask before photographing people. Follow the customs of sacred sites. Carry our rubbish out.
Honest pricing
Everyone can see what the trip costs and what it covers.
Comfortable for everyone
Especially women, first-time travellers, and people coming alone.
From the group chat
Travellers who kept coming back
My first trip alone and I never felt out of place. The headcount at every stop, the trip lead checking in — it just felt safe. I've been on three trips since.
Ama Boateng
Accra · Cape Coast & Elmina weekend
Five days up north, priced honestly from day one. No 'DM for price', no surprise costs on the road. Elephants before breakfast — worth every cedi.
Kwame Mensah
Tema · Mole & the Savannah
You come for the waterfalls and leave with a WhatsApp group full of real friends. That's the part the photos don't show.
Efua Asare
East Legon · Wli Falls & Mount Afadja
Bus left exactly when they said it would. Everything organised, everything included. As a first-timer I finally understood why people keep going back.
Yaw Osei
Kumasi · Shai Hills day trip
Paid to the official account, got a receipt with a reference the same day. That trust is why I recommend Travel Buddies to everyone at work.
Akosua Danso
Spintex · Nzulezu & Busua
Ten years from now, “I’ve been to all sixteen regions” shouldn’t sound remarkable.
And we want you to have done it with us. Start with a day trip the easiest yes you’ll say all year.
